Programs Associate at The IREDE Foundation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify funding opportunities from diverse local and international government sources through in-depth research.
• Craft exceptional grant proposals with strict adherence to donor guidelines and organizational priorities
• Assist in the effective development, implementation and delivery of programme timelines, goals, and objectives
• Coordinate various program roles, responsibilities and activities to achieve the program’s desired outcomes and objectives.
• Ensure sustainability of all implemented programs through Monitoring and Evaluation processes.
• Provide concise reports on programs’ progress and outcomes to the organization and relevant stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and donors, to achieve program objectives.
• Identify through market research, emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges, to inform strategic decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated experience in a programs role in the non-profit sector(3+ years)
• Understanding and experience in grant writing and fundraising, with a successful track record of securing funding from various sources.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, program design, and execution.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in the face of challenges.
