Job Details

• Operate refinery equipment including pumps, compressors, reactors, distillation columns, and heat exchangers according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor equipment parameters, process variables, and control systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks to identify and address process inefficiencies or abnormalities.
• Optimize process parameters to maximize product yield, quality, and energy efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on refinery equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs as needed.
• Monitor product quality throughout the refining process and take corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct quality tests and analyses as required to ensure product specifications are met.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Refinery Operator or similar role in an FMCG or refinery environment.
• Strong understanding of refinery operations, process control systems, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret process data, troubleshoot equipment issues, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and undergo additional training as required.
